CHARTER NOTES

Booking procedure

After your final choice, we send you the charter contracts (approved by the Hellenic Ministry of Merchant Marine -appr. no 831/76-) which after you sign, keep one copy for yourself and the remaining two together with an advance deposit of 30% of the total charter fees, send back to us.

Upon receipt of the charter contracts and the advance payment, your reservation becomes final.

The balance of 70% is payable upon embarkation and delivery of your boat either in cash, in Eurochecks or in Traveller’s checks.

Sailing qualifications

Greek law requires that if chartering on a bareboat basis, the skipper and co-skipper (at least the skipper) are required to produce a certificate or licence attesting to their sailing qualifications.

Insurance

All our yachts are insured against risks from liabilities to third parties and damage to hull, machinary and equipment. There is deductible provision, the amount of which is related to the size of boat.

Security deposit

You are required to leave a security -guarantee- deposit prior to embarkation in order to cover the possibility of damage to the boat or loss of equipment. The deposit is refunded to you in total if the boat and its equipment are returned intact. In the case of damage or loss the estimated amount is withheld and the rest is returned to you.

Transfers

For all our clients, the transfers to and from airport are free of charge.

Upon your arrival at the airport, our transportation staff will bring you to your boat in marina Kalamaki.

Start - up provisioning

By sending us a provisioning list before your arrival, your provisions will await you onboard.

Alternatively, you can go shopping yourselves. Our van will take you to a supermarket and bring you back to your boat with your shopping at no extra charge.

Don’t forget to bring

Greece is a popular country for holidays, mostly because of its mild temperatures and its bright sun, so bring light clothing.

We recommend T-shirts, shorts, your swimmimg costume, and an extra sweater for cool nights, while light foul weather gear might be necessary for a stormy day.

Boat shoes or any rubber soled shoes are a must for walking on deck, for your safety.

Pack your things in folding bags that are easy to stow.

Don’t forget to bring your hat, sun-glasses, sunscreen and your beach towel.
